Tank was a guest on last Saturday's Entertainment Big Brother. It was there that I first found out about Tank's congenital heart condition and his recent surgery. It was today that I found out his sister died from the same condition back in 2006. Admittedly, I've only heard the songs he did for the Taiwanese Hanakimi drama. But I recently came into a copy of his The 3rd Round album and after listening it today, I loved it. Knowing his history made this album that much more meaningful and I am very glad that he is still able to share his talent with us today. I eagerly await the 4th round. =]

Why have I not discovered the very much cracktastic Bleach musical? And by "discovered," I mean watched.

At first, it started out okay. But that was only like the first 30 seconds of it when the credits ran and Ichigo was just standing there doing nothing.

It was really corny and I could tell right off that the actors could use a little more practice in their acting. And their singing skills? NONE. Then again, I wasn't expecting anything anyway. And Ichigo really needs a new wig. When I first saw him, I was like, "Cloud? I thought I was watching Burimyu!" And Rukia has quite a big mouth, LOL. Not!Chad is, well, not Chad. I am very disappointed. He's tiny! I know it's difficult to find a Japanese with Chad's build but they could give him sky-high platforms or something. Yeesh! On the other hand, Orihime is pretty cute. She's so tiny! xP Her boobs aren't big enough, though, IMO. And Matsumoto's appears to be... non-existent?! Lol, her breasts "get in the way." Hm, yeah, I can see what a HUGE problem they'd be. (That clip has dancing and singing Zaraki. And well, just about everyone else. xD)

In this video, we have...... URAHARA SINGING THE STUPIDEST SONG EVER. I LOVE IT. It starts around 4:50.

Eh, Byakuya does not make my heart skip. He's not hot and his voice is terrible. He sounds like a middle-aged smoker. Renji's tattoos are terrible in this one, too, ROFL. I love Hitsugaya's playback of his and Hinamori's conversation around 3:30. But such a big guy saying a line like, "whether you're standing or sitting, your eye level doesn't change much" is THE weirdest thing ever. I know it's meant to be funny but it comes off as kind of retarded instead. And the Gin intro around 4:45 is HILARIOUS and a MUST WATCH. He was so serious, too. xD They should not have given Kira his eyebrows. And LMAO Ikkaku.

But where the hell is Ishida? Can someone point me to a clip of him? He DOES appear in the musical... Right?! I'm too lazy to wade through all the clips to find him. There are already plenty of things I cannot unsee. Never mind, I just Googled and found out he never appeared in any of the productions. I'm very upset by this. Ishida must be the single-most neglected character in this series! =[

My dad took the trash out earlier (when it was still light out.) Normally, this is nothing to post about. But as my dad usually lounges around the house shirtless in the summer, it was in that state that he went out. When he came back, I said this:

Me: Did you traumatize anyone?
Dad: No, actually - this girl told me I was smokin' hot.
Me: ROFL, dad, you're such a liar.

My custom Le Pliage came today. I admit that when I first took it out of the packaging, I was a little disappointed. I didn't like it that much when I was trying it on. It felt too small for my frame. But I was in a hurry to leave for work so I attributed part of my disappointment to that. Later, when I came home from work and tried it on again, I loved it. Haha, yes, I'm fickle. =3 The beige/red combination works quite well. I was expecting a lighter beige but I think that was just the monitor colors.

I just found out that apparently, you can get married in Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires to the opposite sex OR take an oath with the same sex. LOL!! But, the glitch appears to be, that familial ties are completely disregarded. In other words, yes, Sun Jian can marry SSX. GROSS. But still, I am highly amused by this. I preordered the game from Amazon earlier and I got it this week but I haven't started playing it. Finding out about this marriage option just makes me wanna go home right now and start. xD It seems that characters can also step down from their rule and take whoever they want with them (officers, spouse, relatives, etc.) And if they decide they want to be emperor again, they can. And all this time, I thought it was just like the previous Empires games! xD

I watched the official trailer on the website and I laughed so hard. That it featured Zhou Yu rather than the usual Zhao Yun aside, Zhou Yu, Sima Yi, and Zhuge Liang at the same table discussing strategy? ROFL. This is why I love Empires.

Yeah, I am. I was talking to my boss lady last night on the phone and I said the office was closed today. And she asked me to come in to man the phones. Who's going to call on the eve of 4th of July? T_T So I'll be sitting here until 12 or 1 before I leave. I only need to stay for the morning, fortunately. SIGH.

What the subject says. Testing the QWERTY on this keyboard. This is my first time with a QWERTY so I'm getting used to it. I have to keep looking down to see where the keys are since I'm not used to the spacing yet. And whoever said this keyboard isn't responsive has no idea what they're talking about. I kept getting double characters for pressing too hard by accident. The spacebar is kind of oddly spaced but very easy to get used to. Heck, I had no problem getting it right after the first time.

I like that I can use my nails to select stuff. Sometimes I had to press twice or three times on the iPod touch because my nails got in the way, haha.

Only thing that irks me is the inability to log into Gmail. Keeps telling me packet error. T_T And the onscreen FB and Accu widgets don't load until after I click on them. Maybe the firmware update will fix this.

To prove global warming is fucking us all up, we had less than 10 minutes of rain earlier, around 5. It started out as light rain then got very heavy; it was super-loud when it hit our windows. And then the sun came out. I was looking at the window and wondering if the rain stopped and maybe it was just random stuff hitting our window (unlikely.) But no, Donny and I went to the window by the men's room (which didn't have a foggy screen - I dunno what they're called) and saw that it was indeed still pouring down hard. I used the bathroom for a minute, came out, and there were no more sounds. So we all thought, no more rain. But I left the building minute or two later and there was still some drizzling. I went down literally one block - from one end to the other - and it stopped raining altogether. The whole thing lasted, as I said, less than 10 minutes. As if the rain we've been getting so much of lately isn't enough. =/

In some good news - NO WORK TOMORROWWWWWW!!!!! Can you tell how excited I am? CAN YOU?!?!?!

Anyone up for restaurant week? I found out today Kobe Club is closed. T_T I was wondering why it wasn't listed as a participant. This makes me very sad as I've always wanted to try that place and restaurant week was the best time, given how pricey the place is. Oh well. Nobu Next Door for dinner anyone? =D Most Yelpers gave a good review of it - particularly on the black cod; seems like the menu is pretty much identical to Nobu.

One place I must dine at before going back home: SobaKoh. =9

Man, boss lady keeps telling me to ask this company if they can reduce the invoice amount we have to pay on 2 FCL shipments. Except their answer is always, the cargo's already departed AND received by you guys so no, we can't. I'm going to have to resort to begging if boss lady still makes me ask them after I get the same predictable response back from the supervisor.

Got my Nokia N97 this morning! (My dad's overall feeling on this phone: But can it poop?) Surprisingly fast considering Amazon only just shipped it on Saturday and it went by way of USPS, which can be pretty darn slow. I wonder if my Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires also came since it shipped on Sunday. (I know: WTF? But I ain't complainin'!) I hope I won't find the N97 as disappointing as some negative reviews I've read. (I suspect I won't, though, primarily because these reviewers tend to be hardcore phone users and I'm not.) The stylus does look pretty neat, though. It's an odd shape for a stylus (strangely big, too) but I like it. I'm imagining myself hanging it from the phone for easier access. =D And you bet your pretty butt I'll buy more phone accessories! My target this time is this ginormous fluff ball I saw last time in Chinatown. Dad is gonna HATE me. ♥ (Speaking of accessories, my CJ7's head is coming apart. T_T)

Oh, and for anyone wondering what I'm still doing in the states even though I kept saying I'll be moving back to Malaysia this year, um. Well. I have nothing to say to that, really. xD! Tentative date right now is mid-September because my mom's got a nursemaid job in August, which could end as late as early September; all depends on when the baby drops. But mom did promise to stop taking these damn jobs after this August one, though. (We need my mom home so it'd be less boring when we fly back.) I make no promises, though. (I don't know who really believes me anymore when I tell them I'm leaving this-or-that-date, LOL!)
